The President of the United States issued an Executive Order on the Security of Our Borders on January 20, 2025. The order directs the Department of Homeland Security to “end all categorical parole programs that are contrary to U.S. policy.” The programs affected by this executive order are as follows:
- United for Ukraine (U4U)
- Welcome, Operations Allies (OAW)
- Family Reunification Parole (FRP)
- Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV)
- Safe Mobility Office (SMO)
- Central American Minor (CAM)
