El Presidente de los Estados Unidos emitió una Orden Ejecutiva sobre la Seguridad de Nuestras Fronteras el 20 de enero de 2025. La orden ordena al Departamento de Seguridad Nacional que “ponga fin a todos los programas categóricos de libertad condicional o Paroles contrarios a las politicas de los Estados Unidos. Los programas impactados por esa orden executiva son los siguientes:

  • Unidos por Ucrania (U4U)
  • Bienvenidos aliados de operaciones (OAW)
  • Libertad condicional por reunificación familiar (FRP)
  • Cubanos, haitianos, nicaragüenses y venezolanos (CHNV)
  • Oficina de Movilidad Segura (SMO)
  • Menor Centroamericano (CAM)

Paroles affected by the new Executive Order

On January 20, 2025, the President of the United States issued an Executive Order on Securing Our Borders. The order directs the Department of Homeland Security to “terminate all categorical parole programs that are contrary to the policies of the United States.” The impacted programs include:

  • Uniting for Ukraine (U4U)
  • Operations Allies Welcome (OAW)
  • Family Reunification Parole (FRP)
  • Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV)
  • Safe Mobility Office (SMO)
  • Central American Minor (CAM)
